Detroit Pistons’ new general manager Troy Weaver already confirmed he wants to schedule an interview with LaMelo Ball ahead of the 2020 draft. During the pandemic the talented youngster was training in Michigan while it’s a curious detail that his agent Jermaine Jackson Sr. is born in Detroit and used to play for the Pistons. According to Weaver, LaMelo Ball could be ready to accept an offer from the Pistons having already heard some nice things about the city and the organization.

LaMelo Ball is just 19-years old and he’s regarded as one of the best prospects in the NBA for the future. The California native was chosen as a NBL rookie of the year and he’s JBA champion in 2018. Last season he was playing for the Illawara Hawks in Australia and he didn’t left unnoticed because of his talents.

Most likely the new NBA season will start just few days before Christmas. The usual schedule was affected by the coronavirus, so teams will not have the usually long time for a pre-season.
